Vegas Indoor Skydive has been a pioneering influence in the world of thrill seekers since 1982, providing an exciting product for fun-loving people.
Formerly known as Flyaway, Vegas Indoor Skydive operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility. Guests earn their wing's and experience body flight during a simulated sky dive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip after only 20 minutes of instruction. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the free fall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. After all, it’s getting cold out there!
Vegas Indoor Skydive uses a Vertical Wind Tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of Indoor Skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. The column of air 12 feet across and up to 22 feet high, with vertical airspeeds up to 120 mph - allowing you to fly indoors! Each flier attends a brief training class, suits up in all the necessary flight gear, and then its into the tunnel for the actual flight. The entire experience takes about an hour on average. Dress in comfortable clothes with socks and sneakers on your flight day. The minimum weight for participation is 40 pounds. Minors are required to have a parent or guardian present during flight training.
