Since opening late December 2007, Pole Position Raceway, Las Vegas’ newest and most innovative indoor speedway, has become a popular entertainment venue for Las Vegas locals, visitors from all over the world and a variety of celebrities.  The company’s 60,000-square-foot facility is located two blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip at 4175 South Arville.

“The early success of Pole Position Raceway is no surprise,” said Kurt Busch, NASCAR champion and Pole Position Raceway shareholder.  “Las Vegas has needed a place like Pole Position for a long time.”

Pole Position Raceway is a “true” racing experience enjoyed by both experienced and novice racers alike.  Since opening, almost 30,000 unique racers have raced on the company’s quarter-mile, European-inspired indoor speedway that was co-designed by Busch.   The track was recently redesigned to keep the indoor karting experience fresh and exciting to all racers.

Pole Position Raceway uses 18-horsepower, electric race karts, which are the fastest and only emission-free karts available in Las Vegas.  The company’s climate controlled facility and emission-free environment allows visitors to comfortably race year-round.

Patrons never know who they will be racing against when they take to Pole Position Raceway’s track.  Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, UFC Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, 2007 Daytona 500 Winner Kevin Harvick, NASCAR’s Kyle Busch, PGA Tour Star Bob May, IRL Driver Marco Andretti and Las Vegas Headliner Wayne Brady are just some of the celebrities who have raced on the indoor speedway.

Pole Position Raceway recently expanded its hours and is now open 11 a.m. to midnight every day of the week.   The company also offers unique racing memorabilia, state-of-the-art video games and a variety of modern meeting and party rooms.  For more information, call (702) 227-RACE (7223) or log on to www.PolePositionRaceway.com.
