Luxor Las Vegas has unveiled the exhibit that has audiences in New York,London, Atlanta, and Tampa applauding. BODIES…The Exhibition, which showcases real full-bodies and organs, provides a detailed, three-dimensional vision of the human form rarely seen outside of an anatomy lab or a morgue.
“Your body is the only thing that you carry with you from the moment you are born until your last breath. Yet we know surprisingly little about ourselves,” said Dr. Roy Glover, Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Michigan and Chief Medical Director for the Exhibition. “For centuries, this world has been off-limits to the public – open only to doctors and medical professionals. Now, for the first time, we are allowing the public to see it for themselves, up-close and personal.”
The Exhibition showcases 13 whole-body specimens and more than 260 organs and partial body specimens. These real human bodies have been meticulously dissected, preserved through an innovative process and respectfully presented, giving visitors the opportunity to view the beauty and complexity of their own organs and systems.
The complex, which will include almost 50,000 square feet, is slated to include an all new Titanic exhibition with an enormous presence, along with at least one themed bar and restaurant, a “Photo Op” on Titanic’s soon to be constructed Ship’s bow utilizing a moving lifeboat to gain access, the blockbuster BODIES exhibition and multiple expanded gift shops.
