Wayne Brady is Making It Up at the Venetian after an original twenty-day limited engagement schedule, which began on April 5, 2007 and is still running in November of 2008.  Following an overwhelming response from audiences and critics alike, the show has developed a solid fan base and catapulted Brady from one of many visiting entertainers to a true Strip headliner.

Believe it or not, Brady’s first job as an entertainer was playing Tigger at Walt Disney World. He then moved on to perform at a central Florida comedy club called SAK Comedy Lab. From here, Brady moved to Las Vegas and then eventually on to Los Angeles, California in 1996, where he developed his acting skills.  In L.A., Brady signed on to perform for one of his most notable gigs on the hit show, "Whose Line Is It Anyway".  Brady was able to display his amazing ability to think, act, sing and be funny all at once.  His improv skills even garnered him 4 Daytime Emmy Awards on his aptly titled television show, "The Wayne Brady Show," a few years later.  Two of the awards were for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

Since then, he’s worked on several other projects, including a tremendously popular spot on Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central.  In his skit, he and comedian Dave Chappelle painted a picture of Brady quite opposite his smiling, cheery television persona.  The stunt hit audiences like a ton of bricks and it turned out to be one of the show’s funniest skits to date.

Now, with a home in Las Vegas again, Brady creates full-blown scenes out of nothing, on any topic.  His quick wit and impeccable timing turns a scramble of words volunteered from the audience into a hilarious rap, alternating through different movie genres within one scene and even manipulates audience members into on-stage props.

Backed by a three-piece band and two lovely dancers, Brady proves he is one of the most versatile men in show business with a musical tribute to some of his favorite musicians and Las Vegas Legends.

The improv comedy genius has created a Strip phenomenon full of laughs. Wayne Brady shows November 1, 5, 13, 20 and 27 at 9 p.m.  Tickets are $49, $69, $89, $149 (VIP) plus tax and fees.  To make reservations visit www.venetian.com, call (702) 414-9000 or visit any Venetian Box Office.
