One of the most renowned magicians in Las Vegas history is back on the Strip after a brief hiatus from performing his spectacle of imaginative mega-illusions. Steve Wyrick, “Ultra Magician” has laid roots at the Hilton Theater inside the Las Vegas Hilton, and is poised to present illusions, which are both dangerous and mind-bending.
However, Wyrick’s well-rounded routine is not comprised solely of major and bold illusions. He is well versed in the art of sleight of hand, and will amaze audience members and show participants alike. Steve Wyrick’s set will most certainly arouse memories of childhood dreams, while also instilling a sense of danger through auditory and visual cues. Though we can’t spoil any surprises, Wyrick uses spinning blades and industrial equipment to set the impressive scene during one particular stunt.
Having earned the prestigious “Magician of the Year” Award by the International Magicians’ Society, Wyrick’s artful performances have been seen on numerous national and international television specials including “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Vh1’s “Celebracadabra,” TLC’s “American Chopper” and The History Channel’s “Science Impossible,” to name just a few. Wyrick also just finished filming the “Ford 10 Unleashed” commercial on Las Vegas Boulevard promoting Ford’s new Mustang. Steve’s unique and unconventional brand of magic has even led him to perform for the President’s family at the White House.
Magic has been a lifelong passion for Steve Wyrick. As a child growing up in Texas, he often practiced magic and the art of illusion for his friends. His passion eventually led him west to Las Vegas. He became the youngest Las Vegas headliner ever when his show debuted at Lady Luck in downtown Las Vegas. Wyrick’s latest fast-paced and provocative stage production features his most elaborate illusions to date using a helicopter, an Orange County Chopper and a 60-foot Lear Jet!
Steve Wyrick “Ultra Magician” opens July 7 in the Las Vegas Hilton’s Hilton Theater and will be performed nightly at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $39.95, $59.95, $79.95, and $125 plus tax and fee. Call for details at (702) 732-5755, (800) 222-5361 or log onto www.lvhilton.com.
