Firefly* has been a standout in Las Vegas dining since opening in 2003.  The restaurant features an eclectic menu of “tapas”, small plates and appetizers that pair perfectly with the house specialty sangrias available by the glass or pitcher.  Notable offerings include lamb chops, petite filet with roasted potatoes and spinach, addictive bacon wrapped dates in red wine sauce, empanadas, skewers, sliders, shrimp a la diabla and dozens of other meat, chicken and veggie dishes; none priced over $10.  Now Firefly* has opened a second location in the “Dome” of the Plaza Hotel & Casino downtown, which offers a wide open view of the famous Fremont Street Experience.

Like the original location on Paradise, which still packs them in nightly, Firefly* at the Plaza offers a full bar, single serving tapas dishes as well as full size entrées late into the evening.
